Pokhara on lake Phewa

Scenic villages, smooth hills with fields of rice terraces, subtropic forest and the unique, only 50 km distance to the Himalaya-Silouette build the charme of Pokhara on lake Phewa:
Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Annapurna-South (7219 m), Annapurna I (8091 m), Macchapuchare (6993 m), Annapurna III (7555 m), Annapurna IV, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu (8163 m) und Himalchuli (7893 m).

Peace Stupa

By rowboat we ship across lake Phewa past the monastery island to the oposite waterside. Right there starts the one hour walk uphill to the Peace Stupa with excellent lookout to the whole Annapurna Range.
On saturday the Peace Pagoda with the golden Buddha's is a meeting point of young neplali people.
