Flowerpot Rock's in der Province New Brunswick
At the seascape Fundy Bay, the world's highest tidal range occurs with up to 21 m difference between low tide and high tide.
Tidal erosion has created the bizarre rock formations of the Hopewell Rocks. The rocks, also known as flowerpot rocks, are reminiscent of flowerpots. Because of the extreme tidal range, there are strict rules for visiting the rock formations, which are submerged twice a day. At low tide the rocks can be seen from the seabed. The Rocks Provincial Park was opened in the year 1958.
The water temperature in the Fundy Bay is only 4 °C.
