Hot Air Ballooning - Flying high above the Salzburg Land
We start in thick morning fog in front of the Bischop's miter mountain.
In 3500 m above sea level we fly over the Dachstein rock ridge. The competition balloons are rising rapidly higher and move up to about 6000 m altitude flying over the Alps and landing in Italy near Venice, thank God I'm not in there !
Our balloon throws his shadow over the pine mountain forest of the Ramsau mountains.
Due to the high altitude a hot air balloon ride in winter over the snow and ice covered mountain peaks of the Alps is an unforgettable experience.
