From Hell-Bourg through the Forêt de Bélouve up to the mountain hut Gîte de Bélouve (approx 2 hours, elevation 580 metres in height) with breathtaking view into the Cirque de Salazie. Then further on to the lookout above the big hole Trou de Fer.
Convenient with car up to the lookuot Piton Maïdo (2190 m):
From the parking lot near the summit we walk with breathtaking view into the Cirque de Mafate and to the highest mountain of La Réunion Piton des Neiges.
