Hiking in the vineyards of Rheingau
From Ruedesheim we hike through vineyards up to the Niederwald Monument (built in 1883), a popular viewpoint in the Rheingau. The 12.5 m high flying bronze statue Germania is enthroned imposingly on a 30 m high base. The Niederwald Monument is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the monumental memorial buildings in Germany that was built during the German Empire. Comfortably we float with the Drachenstein cable car over the vineyards down to Ruedesheim on river Rhein.
Palace Vollrads located in the vineyards of the Rheingau with an imposing defense tower is the ideal wedding location. |
