There are not many places in the world where you can swim with dolphins or other whales.

Dolphins in the wild

Dolphins are protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act. It is forbidden to swim too close to dolphins. A distance of at least 45 meters must be maintained. But sometimes the curious and playful dolphins swim towards people.
Dolphin tours are available on the Hawaiian Islands Oahu and Big Island.
Caressing or hugging dolphins is a matter of concern, as the friendly marine mammals can easily catch an infection.

Dolphin Quest at the InterContinental Beachcomber Hotel Moorea offers the opportunity to swim with dolphins.
On Hawaii's Big Island, north of Kona, there's a free dolphins show with several dolphins every day (from 2pm) at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Selected hotel guests and customers of Dolphin Quest are allowed to swim with the dolphins.
Incredible that brutal Japanese are still slaughtering these friendly and intelligent animals despite worldwide protests.
