VW Autocity Wolfsburg - from coal harbour to Boomtown

Green hills rise up between the Lagunas of Mitlandcanal and Theme pavillons. During the constuction of the VW Autocity the former factory premises were rebuild to a living Parklandscape, in which the visitors should feel themselves comfortable. 'Humans, Autos and what they feel about' - so reads the Moto of this Themeparks Autocity.
On 1th of Juni 2000 the Autocity opened the doors. Initiator was at that time the VW Konzernchef Ferdinand Piech, builder was the Autocity business manager Otto Ferdinand Wachs. The Autocity is a success story of Superlative - more then 20 Millionen people have visited the Autocity until now.
