Photography with Infrared Light
Especially the behaviour on chlorophyll containing leaf green makes the Infrared film to an important material for detection of forest damages. Healthy plants appear with the false colour film depending on the used filter bright orange, red oder violett and with black & white film shiny white. Spring is the optimal season for taking infrared shots.
Infrared false colour photography:
Colour Filter - like often used in black & white photography - can be used effectually:
Yellow filter, Orange filter
Green filter Nr.13 (leaf green changes to intensive violet until magenta, the sky is showed lightblue)
Red filter Nr.25 (healthy Plants are displayed in light red, the sky gets poisson green)
Unfortunately allmost all modern Digital cameras have buildin Infrared filter direct infront off the digital sensor. Who knows a digital camera, whos Chip reacts well on infrared light ?
