Ultralight flight with Avia Club Nepal
Today I intended to fly Ultralight along the Annapurna range, but weather conditions are realy bad in november which should be the best traveltime for Nepal. After reflecting on the situation, I determine to take the risk and drive to Phokara airport by taxi immediately.
Due to the bad weather I get 10 % discount for the one hour flight from the nice girls of Avia Club Nepal. My pilot is russian and speeks poor englisch but he understands a lot of flying - in a earlier life he must have been MIG29-Pilot.
On an elevation of nearly 4000 m we fly close to Machhapuchare. Sensationell what such a small flying maschine can perform. With the small remote operated digital camera fixed outside on the draggon wing the Pilot shoots some spectacular photos of our flying maschine. On the way back gliding upon the Peace stupa and lake Phewa we experienced a few rough turbulences and our small airplane was thrilled heavily.
A beautiful Nepali girl of Avia Club Nepal Crew hands over to me a certificate for the dangerous adventure.
